What’s happening
On 1 July 2026, WAAC and HepatitisWA agreed to join forces. Two organisations with the same commitment to fighting stigma, promoting inclusivity and delivering positive health outcomes are now together under one name – thread: community + health.
At the moment we are busy behind the scenes building the full thread experience. We’re targeting early 2027 but you’ll hear the date from us here first.
